Terms & Conditions

Meeds provides administrators a new way to show and be sure user read Terms & Conditions (Community Guidelines, User Policy, Terms of Use).

🙋 Who can edit the Terms & conditions?

• Administrators of the platform

🛠️ How to access?

• Access the Platform Settings

• From there, go to "Main customization"

• Choose the edit icon of Terms & Conditions

• The Terms & conditions Management drawer opens

❓ What are the options?

In this drawer you will be able to

• Edit your content

  • When editing the content, then the T&C are no longer available for users.

  • Indeed, it is automatically unpublished

• Preview what the user will see in a new tab in read only mode

• Publish to everyone with a switch button.

  • Once published, the publication date is reminded next to the option

  • You can publish the content when saving it from the editor

💡 Note:

• The first time you access the option, you will be kindly invited to "Create" the content thanks to a simple one button

👥 How does user access Terms & Conditions?

• Admins publish Terms & Conditions

  • I am logging in:

    Once logged in, the first thing to do would be reading the content and finally accept it to continue using the platform

  • I was using the tool:

    A popup warns you about a content to read and accept to continue using the platform

  • Terms & Conditions have been updated:

    You are invited to read it and accept it again

• Users want to read it again

  • From their personal settings, they can access the Terms & Conditions currently published

  • In case the content is unpublished, this access is no longer suggested for users

💡 Good to know:

• Add an action in your 'Discover' Contribution Program so users get rewarded for reading these Terms of Use

• Make this automatic action a prerequisite to do any other action so they won't get rewarded before accepting rules
