As a space admin, you can assign categories to your space to make it easier for users to find in the spaces directory.
Platform admins can also simplify access by listing spaces in the sidebar based on their categories.
Restricted Categories: Some categories may only be visible or accessible to certain users or admins based on permissions.
That doesn't mean items are not visible to users
Limited Assignment: Only authorized users can add specific categories to spaces.

Go to Space Settings > Categories.
Use the form to add categories.
Available categories will be listed for selection.
If no categories are listed, contact your administrator.
Important Notes:
Selecting a parent category does not automatically select its subcategories.
You need to select subcategories individually.
Spaces identified with a subcategory will also appear in searches filtered by the parent category.
